In New Zealand sanitary plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying work is restricted and can only be carried out by practitioners who are registered and licensed to do so.
There are 3 levels you can be registered in as a plumber, gasfitter and/or a drainlayer.

Register with overseas qualifications
If you are moving to New Zealand and want to carry out plumbing, gasfitting and/or drainlaying, you will need to register and apply for a licence.

How to order a replacement registration certificate
