2026 CPD Roadshows - bookings now open
Bookings are now open for the 2026 CPD Roadshows, delivered by the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.
Please note that 2026 CPD Roadshows are for practitioners who need to complete CPD to renew their licence for the 2027/2028 licensing year.
The Board is delivering CPD independently in 2026. As a result, there are no sponsors, and no trade stands at these sessions.
Each CPD session is two hours and covers key technical and professional topics relevant to plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying practice.

What is CPD?
Continuing professional development (CPD) is the means by which registered people (i.e. Restricted, Plumber/Gasfitter/Drainlayer and Certifying) maintain their knowledge and skills related to their trade.
By maintaining and improving the competence of registered tradespeople, CPD is a valuable tool that assists the Board with their commitment to protect the health and safety of the public.
Do I have to do CPD?
If you are a registered person (i.e. Restricted, Plumber/Gasfitter/Drainlayer or Certifying), completing CPD is a mandatory condition to relicense each year.
It is likely that a new licence will not be issued to you if you have not completed your annual CPD training.
