Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Continuing professional development (CPD) is the means by which registered people (i.e. Journeyman, Tradesman and Certifying) maintain their knowledge and skills related to their trade. The Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board is committed to CPD as a valuable tool to assist in maintaining and improving the competence of registered tradespeople, and, as a consequence, to protect the health and safety of members of the public.
