ASK FOR THE CARDAll authorised tradespeople must carry their authorisation card issued by the Board.
The card also details what a person's supervision requirements are, if any (on the reverse). You can also check to see if a person is authorised by searching our online public register (left) or phone us on 0800 743 262. Read More >> |
NOTE: there are other types of authorisations that entitle people to do the work. These include exemptions and limited certificates, most of whom must work under the supervision and direction of a registered certifying tradesperson. In these cases, you will find the name of the tradespersons supervisor on the back of their authorisation card.
If you have any concerns about the authorisation that is presented to you, please contact the Board on 0800 743 262.
