Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Gasfitters are currently required to complete 16 points per year to qualify to hold a licence. This will continue to be the case for the year to April 2011.
All plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers will need to earn CPD points prior to 1 April 2012 in order for their licences to be to renewed.
The following shows the new requirement for the CPD points:
