Employer Licences

The Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board ("the Board") has taken over the administration of employer licences as at 1 April 2010. The Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Act 2006 makes provision for employer licences to be issued provided certain requirements have been met. The employer licences were formerly issued by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Board is currently developing policies and procedures to ensure these are granted to the appropriate organisations.
